Welcome to the Teach And Discover Network. This site and its information is created and maintained by Christian Mills, a mathematics and physics teacher, and sci-fi and fantasy geek-nerd. Its more of a personal website where I can post my thoughts and collect other things that interest me. I can't really imagine anyone else but me coming here to visit this web page on their own, to be honest. I send my students here for things like notes, information, printable graph paper, etc. I'd like to think that this website is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge as well as offering an insight into it's creator, me. Contained in the pages herein are the materials required for classroom and online classes I teach, as well as my personal research in the fields of theoretical physics, cosmology, and general relativity.

"Equipped with his five senses,
man explores the universe around him,
and calls the adventure science."
- Edwin Hubble

The links that are found to the right will transport you to different parts of the site. Each part has information that can be explored. The more important links are contained on the top, where the less important links are contained below. Feel free to browse through them at your leisure.

The Teach & Discover Network is a location where I can share information. I am a teacher by profession, but I like to learn as much as I enjoy teaching. Hence the title, "Teach & Discover." Throughout history, special individuals have made great and important discoveries. They have in turn shared their discoveries with the world in order to make it a better place. This site is my attempt to do the same.

"This is our galaxy - a gigantic cloud of suns and planets, in which our Earth is but a pinpoint, one speck of dust. The galaxy is so vast that even traveling at millions of miles per hour it would still take millions of years to cross through it. And yet, incredible as it seems, our galaxy is itself only one of untold billions of other galaxies, separated by voids of emptiness so vast that time, matter, and energy may not even mean the same out... there." - Samuel Peeples

"We recognize that the very molecules that make up your body, the atoms that construct the molecules, are traceable to the crucibles that were once the centers of high-mass stars. That [they] exploded their chemically rich guts into the galaxy, enriching pristine gas clouds with the chemistry of life. We are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically, and to the universe atomically. It's not that we're better than the universe, but that we're part of the universe. We are in the universe, and the universe is in us." - Neil DeGrasse Tyson
